CA Compliant AR-15 Fixed Magazine Solution 

As of January 1, 2017 SB880 took effect in California, banning the registration of any new “bullet button style assault weapons”.  This law will force law abiding California gun owners to do one of the following:

1. Register any “bullet button style assault weapons” with the CA DOJ by December 31, 2017
2. Convert the current “bullet button style assault weapon” to a featureless AR-15 with no protruding pistol grip and no other “evil” features (flash suppressor, forward pistol grip, etc.)
3. Permanently affix the magazine in their “bullet button style assault weapon” and be able to retain the “evil” features on their rifle while complying with the law. 
4. Remove the firearm from the state or surrender it to a local law enforcement agency

The Spartan Lock™ is a patent pending design to permanently affix a magazine to the lower receiver and only allow reloading by separating the receivers and top-feeding the fixed magazine.
